This Privacy Policy applies to VerSprite LLC's SMS Alerts program for designated client NOC/SOC and security contacts. It supplements, rather than replaces, other agreements or privacy notices that may apply to VerSprite's professional services.
Information relevant to SMS alerts
For the SMS program, VerSprite may process the intended recipient's name or work role, mobile telephone number, the client organization associated with the request, consent preferences and records, alerts directed to that recipient, and technical message-delivery information such as timestamps and delivery status.
How we use this information
We use this information to enroll consenting recipients, deliver relevant NOC/SOC and security or service notifications, administer delivery and opt-out requests, troubleshoot the alerting service, protect the service, and maintain records needed for compliance.
SMS consent information and sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We may use messaging service providers (including Twilio), operating solely to deliver and administer these requested service messages, and disclose information when legally required. These service-processing activities do not authorize use of SMS opt-in data for third-party marketing.
Message frequency, rates, and recipient choices
VerSprite SMS alerts are sent when relevant monitoring events or status changes occur. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may reply STOP to stop receiving messages and HELP for assistance. You may also contact your VerSprite representative or visit our company contact page to ask about consent, correct the designated phone number, or request removal.
Information security and retention
We take reasonable measures intended to limit access to SMS records and protect the information used for the notification program. We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain consent and operational records, and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations.
